Can my child get a Library card?

Kids and teens under 18 may get a card. A responsible party (i.e. parent/legal guardian) must be attached to their card. This requires the responsible party to have their own library card. The responsible party who signs for the child or teen will be held liable for all charges and damages associated with the child's card.

Teens 16-17 can apply for a library card without a guardian present but will be given limited access to check-out items. However, teens will still be given full access to our online services.
