Rec League

 Youth basketball is open to girls and boys from ages 5-12. Players must be 5 on or before September 1, 2022. The registration fee of $75.00 includes a jersey and a pair of shorts. Registration is available online and at the Boaz Rec Center. Please click HERE to log in and register online. Sneakers are mandatory for all play in all divisions. Shoes must be smooth and soft-soled for athletic use. Practices will begin in October and games will begin in November. In order to participate in any sport, each child must meet the age requirements provided and submit a birth certificate if we do not already have one on file. You may make team requests for your child but only siblings and step siblings are guaranteed to be placed on the same team. Co-ed teams and/or some travel may be necessary depending on the level of interest. Rec League players will attend evaluations in order to fairly place each individual on a team. If a player is interested in playing on a Rec Plus travel team, players must register for the Rec League and attend tryouts. 

Refunds

In order to receive a full refund, a request must be made to the office before uniforms are ordered. Once uniforms are ordered, you will only receive a refund of the amount less the cost of the uniform.

If the age group for an individual does not have enough players to make, you will have the choice of a full refund or a credit to your profile for future registrations.
