AVL - Alabama Virtual Library - The AVL provides all students, teachers, and citizens of the State of Alabama with online access to essential library and information resources. It is primarily a group of online databases that have magazines, journals, and newspaper articles for research.
Homework Alabama - Available free through our website. This site offers the following:
- Free Homework Help - Available Sunday-Thursday from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. For grades K-12, College Intro, and Adult Learners; Get help in Math, Science, English, Social Studies, or Writing from a live tutor.
- Skills Resource Library - Available 24/7. Contains lessons, worksheets, videos, study guides, and websites to help with studies.
- Test Prep Resources - Available 24/7. Helps prepare for the SAT, ACT, GED, Standardized tests, civil service tests, etc.
- Career Resources - Available 24/7. Helps with resumes, computer literacy, GED, etc.
LearningExpress Library - Available free through our website 24/7. This site offers practice tests, study guides, exercises, skill-building courses, eBooks, and other information needed for school or work. Prepare for College Placement Exams, ACT, AP exams, etc. with help from the site. Please call us for a username and password.

Ancestry Library Edition (in-library use only) - In celebration of Alabama's bicentennial, Ancestry Library Edition is now available for use at all Alabama public libraries. This puts billions of genealogical resources at the fingertips of any Alabama resident with a Library card. It is not available outside the Library.
Chilton Auto Repair Library - Chilton is the world's most comprehensive and trusted automotive repair database with easy-to-follow, step-by-step repair guidance on thousands of cars and trucks from 1940 to the present. It can be accessed online or on your mobile device so you can use Chilton wherever you are.

Public Internet Computers - 14 computers with Microsoft Office Software - Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint.
Children's Computer Stations - 4 Windows 10 computers where children 12 and under can visit safe, Library-approved websites, gaming sites, and educational sites.
Wi-Fi Hotspot - Visit the front desk to receive the password.
Copies/Prints - $0.10 per page in black and white. $0.25 per page in color.
Wireless Printing - You can now print from laptops or smartphones. Please come in for instructions on how to print.
Faxing - To send - $2.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page.
To receive - $1.00 per page.
Scanning to Email/USB - $0.10 per page
AR Enhancement - Our catalog shows Reading Levels and Points for Accelerated Readers
Voter Registration Form - State of Alabama Mail-In Voter Registration Form (PDF) or ask at the front desk.
Income Tax Form Provider - Free - Alabama State and Federal Tax forms are available each year during the tax season. Although we do offer tax forms, we are not allowed to give tax advice!
Interlibrary Loan - If we don't have a book, we can request it from another library throughout the United States. Return shipping costs are required.
Service for Blind & Physically Handicapped - Applications for talking books for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (PDF) may be found at the Library. Ask at the front desk.
Proctor Services - Please call for availability to proctor exams.
Waiting List - You can request to be put on our waiting list for items we have but are currently checked out. (This does not apply to movies.) After you are notified, we will hold the item for 3 days. If it's not picked up in 3 days, the item will be returned to the shelf.
