2022 Fall League Information

The Fall League is for boys and girls ages 4-12. Boys must meet the league age requirements based on their age as of April 30, 2023. Girls must meet the league age requirements based on their age as of January 1, 2023. The cost is $75.00 per child. Click HERE to register. 

If you have more than 2 children playing in our t-ball, baseball or softball program, please come into the rec center to receive a reduced rate. Payment plans are also available. Please see a rec center employee for more information.

Children will need a batting helmet and a glove. Cleats are optional. Your player may wear rubber-soled tennis shoes if you prefer. No metal cleats allowed. If purchasing a bat (not required), baseball bats must have a 1.15 BPF (bat performance factor), and softball bats must have a BPF of 1.20 or lower.

You may make team requests for your child but only siblings/step siblings in the same age division are guaranteed to be placed on the same team. If you do not list siblings/step siblings playing in the same age division during registration, there is no guarantee they will be placed on the same team.

In order to participate in any sport, each child must meet the age requirements provided and submit a birth certificate if we do not already have one on file.

Some travel may be necessary depending on the level of interest.

 **Please note, all T-Ball Leagues will be co-ed.

Refunds

In order to receive a full refund, a request must be made to the office before uniforms are ordered. Once uniforms are ordered, you will only receive a refund of the amount less the cost of the uniform. Refund requests must be made by the parent who signed the registration form.

If the age group for an individual does not have enough players to make, you will have the choice of a full refund or a credit to your profile for future registrations.

If the age group for a travel team does not have enough teams to make, the team may choose between a full refund and a credit. If the team uses the registration fee as a credit towards field reservations for practices, the Boaz Sportsplex and Cherokee Rental Agreement will apply. The credit will apply to practices at the rate specified in the Rental Agreement until the credit is completely used.

Coaches

All volunteers planning to coach (head and assistant) must register for the Request to Coach Program on Rec Desk.

Further instructions will be provided by the Athletic Coordinator once coaches are chosen.
