Household Garbage
Your household garbage will be collected by Republic Services. Please have your 95 gallon blue garbage receptacle on the side of the road before 6 a.m. unless you are moving into a new construction, there should be a receptacle at your residence. You may call Republic Services at 256-891-8714 for your garbage collection schedule. No other containers may be used for household refuse except the blue rollout receptacle.
All garbage receptacles should be removed from the road-side by the owner/occupant no later than 24 hours from pickup.
Please do not place debris in the road, sidewalks, near signage, or near utility poles/lines. You may call the Street Department at 256-593-5741 for these pickups or it will be picked up by regular scheduled route.

Items Not Removed by the Street Department:
Building debris such as scrap lumber, plaster, roofing material, concrete and brickbats resulting from the construction, remodeling or repairs of any building or appurtenances on private property will not be removed by the Street Department. The owner must cause this waste to be privately moved. This information is given to the contractor at time permit is purchased.
It shall be the responsibility of all fence companies, roofers, tree surgeons, nurseries and landscape contractors or any individual; or company doing work on private property to remove from the premises all residue and rubbish resulting from such work. This information is furnished to these companies when they purchase their business license. Contact the license office at 256-593-0241 to see if your contractor has a license prior to beginning work.

- Tires
- Shingles or Roofing Debris
- Building Debris or Concrete
