I am Chief Terry L. Davis. Let me take this opportunity on behalf of the members of the Boaz Police Department, to welcome you to our new and informative website.  Here you will find information regarding the following information relating to Department Staff ( including Bios ), Police Records, our Emergency Services Team, our K-9 Units, our Mission Statement, and other relevant information that you find useful.  You are encouraged to browse our website, provide comments and useful information to assist us in enhancing the services we provide.

The men and women of the Boaz Police Department work tirelessly, in partnership with the Community, to provide a safe and secure environment for those who live, work and visit our City.  Our main focus is to effectively and efficiently address the following:  domestic violence, quality of life issues, theft prevention, drug education, homeland security, and the perception of Boaz, Alabama as a great and safe City for its citizens and visitors.

With the assistance of the Mayor and City Council, we have recently opened a new Jail Facility, along with a state of the art  Dispatch Center.

As Chief of Police, I am committed to ensuring that Boaz is recognized as a City where each citizen and visitor will have positive and meaningful experiences.  Like other cities across the nation, we face many challenges ahead.  You are about to meet the men and women whom, with God's help and community support, will help us overcome them and continue to improve the quality of life in Boaz.
