Lieutenant
Jeff Beck started his firefighting career as a P.O.C.
firefighter with the Boaz Fire Department in February of 1992. In August
of 1996 he was employed as a full-time firefighter. He obtained his
Firefighter I certification at Huntsville Fire Academy. Since then he
has attended many schools and classes, obtaining certifications in
Firefighter II, Fire Officer I, Fire Instructor I, Apparatus Operator
Pump, Apparatus Operator Aerial, Confined Spare Rescue, Haz-Mat
Technician, Introduction To Technical Rescue, High Angle Rescue
Technician, Weapons of Mass Destruction Terrorism Incident Operations,
Emergency Response to Terrorism, Incident Response to Terrorist
Bombings, Structural Collapse Rescue Technician, And National Incident
Management System (MIMS).
Lieutenant Beck is also a
member of the Marshall County Medium Rescue team ,He serves as a Medic
on Boaz Police Department's EST team and is currently enrolled in
Paramedic School at Gadsden State Community College. Lieutenant Beck was
awarded Boaz Community Civitans Firefighter Of The Year for 1997.
Lieutenant Beck lives
in Boaz with his wife Jennifer. They have 2 daughters Emmalee and
Makenlee. They attend St. Paul United Methodist Church. |
