SPARKY
was introduced to
Boaz in October of 1993, with the help of Boaz VFW Post 6837. For
8 years retired Lieutenant Bill Tech played Sparky and spread the fire safety message to hundreds of children in, and around the Boaz area. Through music, dancing, and some comedy, he was able to get his message across, while holding the children's attention. For the past 4 years
Lieutenant Jason Bouldin has been given the honor of, carrying on Bill's love of teaching the children of Boaz and the surrounding area, the importance of fire safety and prevention. If you would like to have SPARKY
visit your school or event, please give us a call at the fire Station at 593-8488 or send a email by
