The last day for the pool to be open will be Wednesday, Aug. 13.

Youth volleyball signups will be Aug. 11-30. The league is for girls in grades 3-6 and the registration fee will be $30 per girl.

The procedure for reserving the pool – once a person’s date has been set, they have 24 hours to pay $50 rental fee. On the day of the party the renter will owe two lifeguards $25 each for up to 40 swimmers. If the party will have more than 40 swimmers, they will need a third guard at an additional $25. Parties are reserved for no more than two hours. Friday’s from 6:00-8:00 and Saturday’s from 6:00-8:00 are the only days each week the pool can be rented. Weeknights may be available for rent after swim team season is complete. No Sunday party rentals due to the pool will be open to the public Sunday’s from 1:00-5:00.  The renters are responsible for cleaning the deck and taking all trash out. To reserve a date call the pool at 256-593-9944.

Pool hours will be Monday thru Friday 12:00 noon-5:00 p.m, Saturday's 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Sunday's 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. The daily admission fee will be $3.00 per person (admission is $1.00 on Sunday's) . Age 6 & under is FREE. Individual season passes will be available beginning May 19 for $40. Family passes (for up to 5 per immediate family) for $100. Passes must be purchased in Rec Center office Monday-Friday 7:00-3:30.

A reminder to anyone wishing to use one of the pavilions next to the Rec Center. You MUST go through the proper procedure and rent the pavilion by 1) calling or coming by and reserving your date and time. 2) then you must pay in advance $25 for 4 hours rental of the pavilion. If you don't go through the proper channels and you just show up to have a party and someone shows up who has properly rented and paid for use, you will be asked to leave and your party will be over. You can call or come by to reserve your date and time anytime during office hours which is 7:00-3:30 Monday thru Friday.
