Youth Girls Volleyball registration will be August 10-29. The league is for girls in grades 3-6.

Call 256-593-9944 to make reservations to make reservations for pool parties. The pool will be available for rent on

Friday's and Saturday's from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. A limited number of dates remain. The last day for party rentals is Sunday, August. 23.

The rental fee (to be paid for at least two weeks in advance) is $50 for the two-hour rental. On the day of the party you will pay two lifeguards

$25 each, for a party with less than 40 persons swimming. For more than 40 persons swimming, a third lifeguard will be required at another $25.

Food and drink may be brought in to the pool deck but no glass or alcoholic beverages allowed.

The last day for the pool to be open will be Wednesday, August 12. Pool hours are Monday-Friday 12:00 noon-5:00 p.m.; Saturday's 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

and Sunday's 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Daily admission fee is $3.00. Age 6 & under is free. Season passes may be bought beginning May 26 in the Recreation Center office.

A reminder to anyone wishing to use one of the pavilions next to the Rec Center. You MUST go through the proper procedure and rent the pavilion by

1) calling or coming by and reserving your date and time. 2) then you must pay in advance $25 for 4 hours rental of the pavilion. If you don't go through the

proper channels and you just show up to have a party and someone shows up who has properly rented and paid for use, you will be asked to leave and

your party will be over. You can call or come by to reserve your date and time anytime during office hours which is 7:00-3:30 Monday thru Friday.

 

The Mountainboro Community Center is available for rent. The cost is $50 for an eight-hour rental (to be paid for in advanced) plus a $50 key deposit when the key is picked up

on the day before the desired date. The key deposit will be refunded when the key is returned. The community center has tables and chairs for 40 people, a small kitchenette with

stove, refrigerator, microwave, sink and private bathroom. There is also a fenced-in back yard with small pavilion with a fire pit and several picnic tables.
